SAM’S CLUB CHECKS

Complete redesign of private label website for Sam’s Club. The previous site UX had not been touched for almost 5 years, and was full of obstacles and UX issues. The brand recognition alone meant that the site had a large visitor count and moderate conversion, despite very little marketing spend, poor SEO, and a poor user experience.

In order to increase the conversion and revenue of the site, as lead designer I redesigned the home page, top level category pages, product pages, personalization, cart, and checkout flow from the bottom up. My team and I also introduced a responsive design framework to adapt to mobile devices.

Post launch revenue rose by 30% and the AOV rose by 27% without any additional marketing spend.
